I’ve had the pleasure of working on interactive projects from the start. Helping to figure out what banner advertising was and how it worked from a design point of view. I called it “fighting the k war” as we needed to have a lot of information in a very small space with the least amount “k” or memory used. It was a challenge to also make them beautiful and effective. Working on gif animations and small page based website. I’ve always tried to innovate from a creative point of view and keep up with the fast pace of technology. Some things have changed a lot and some things have not. All very exciting.
Today we’ve almost come full circle and are now working with projects in small mobile spaces with huge amounts of data and information streaming through the airwaves. Video that looks great and rivals TV. CMS based sites with mass databases and websites that hold places in modern art museums. Humbling amounts of creative and technical achievements.
